Get to know Carol
Carol is a devoted mother of three and grandmother. She is a passionate early childhood educator with over two decades of experience in the field.
Carol helped open a new childcare center, Tutor Time, in Downingtown, PA. Carol spent more than ten years helping to build and grow the program into a thriving educational environment for young children.
During her time at Tutor Time, Carol served as third in charge and took on numerous leadership responsibilities, including assuming full management of the center in the absence of the Director. She worked closely with state and county agencies, trained and supervised all staff, and educated teachers on implementing the center’s curriculum. Carol managed the center in full compliance with state and local regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe, high-quality learning environment.
She played an instrumental role in promoting the center—conducting tours for prospective families, helping to increase enrollment, and contributing to a revenue milestone of $1 million in the late 2000s. Carol also coordinated daily staff schedules and handled various Human Resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, and supporting staff development.
In addition to her leadership duties, Carol served as the certified food manager, overseeing all state food audits, and administered medications to children with special medical needs with care and precision.
After her time at Tutor Time, Carol joined the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) as an Assistant Teacher, working with children with special needs. This experience deepened her understanding of inclusive education and reinforced her belief that every child deserves individualized attention and opportunities to grow.
Carol’s passion has always been to provide exceptional care while focusing on teaching and development—not just “babysitting.” She is deeply committed to creating nurturing, educational experiences that support each child’s social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Her dedication, leadership, and genuine love for children continue to shine through in all she does.
