Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to your most pressing questions about our daycare and its policies.

What is your sick policy?

We request, for the health and safety of the children and the providers within the center that a child be kept home if they experience any of the following symptoms:
● Fever of 100 degrees or higher
● Persistent diarrhea or vomiting
● Severe coughing
● Difficulty breathing
● Unusual rashes or spots
We ask that a child be symptom free for at least a 24-hour period before returning to our center. If your child has a fever, your child must be fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medications. If your child shows these symptoms at school, we will notify you to come pick-up your child.
Parents must call, email, or document the sickness in our online communication system Kindertales to notify the center when your child/children will be absent.

What is your inclement weather policy?

Rosebuds Lil Explorers will take into consideration the decision of Coatesville Area School District when determining our own decision for school closings, school delays, or early dismissals due to inclement weather. Parents will be notified through Kindertales about these school closings, delays, and early dismissals.

Is the staff CPR/First Aid certified?

Yes, all staff is CPR and First Aid Certified and it is renewed every 2 years.

What is the staff ratio?

Our staff-to-child ratio is designed to provide personalized attention. We maintain a low ratio to ensure that each child receives the care and support they need. This allows for a nurturing and engaging environment.
