Welcome to a new school year in our Tulip class at Rosebuds Lil Explorers! We’re so excited to have your child with us and look forward to a year full of wonder, growth, and fun. In our Tulip classroom, it is for ages 3-4. 
 

In the Tulip room, we focus on helping children adjust to classroom routines, build friendships, and explore early learning through play. A big part of our year will be learning about letters and sounds — the beginning of phonics — in fun, age-appropriate ways like songs, stories, games, and art through our FunnyDaffer Curriculum. Your child must master potty training in this class before moving up to the next class.

Here’s what you can expect this year:
 

 Learning Through Play:

– Introduction to letters, letter sounds, and name recognition

– Counting, colors, and shapes

– Social skills: sharing, taking turns, expressing feelings

– Fine motor activities (like coloring, cutting, and puzzles)

– Lots of music, movement, and outdoor play!

 

 What to Bring Each Day:

– Backpack with extra clothes (labeled, please!)

– Labeled Water bottle

– Pull-ups if needed

– Lunch (besides Wednesday)

-Blanket/Sheet or Nap Mat
